The Brilliant and the Beautiful

Since when is it cute to be STUPID?!! I have sat quietly, minded my business, and just let people shine; I can no longer sit idly by...
Knowledge is POWER; ANY way you slice it. To be ignorant is to be WEAK. So why are so many willingly relinquishing their BIRTHRIGHT? The answer to that question is simple; it's not socially currently acceptable to show that there is more to an individual than the superficial. If its not going to gain you likes and (apparently) much needed attention, then its either hidden and/or downplayed to the point of non-existence.
I, for one, am completely disgusted by all of this. If you're going to behave like an idiot with below average intelligence, then that's EXACTLY how I'm going to treat you and ALL the content you put out to the world. I refuse to treat it as a viable contribution. See, its MY fault you think stupid is attractive; because, subconsciously, by me turning a blind eye and ALLOWING your foolishness to pervade my life, I'm just as bad as you are. NO more; that stops NOW...
From this moment on, if you are not promoting the deadly combination of beauty and brains, then you and your content can kick rocks. I want to see the same level of effort put into developing minds that is put into creating a persona that is visually appealing to the status quo. Work on developing your talents from the inside out; making your potential limitless.
It is my solemn belief that a simple minded individual by choice is an INCOMPLETE individual. I no longer have time for these works in progress. treat your intelligence as an unneeded sixth sense (haha), then you should be treated just like that; an individual in need of "special" attention. I am both gifted and gorgeous, and make no qualms about which wins out. They are both equal in value to me, necessary for my survival, and, in essence, WHO I AM. I refuse to differentiate.~ The Queen

Perfecting the Art of Peace

It's official...I'm in my Soft Era...and not for any of these silly reasons you see flooding the internet right now...outside of the keeping to yourself and minding your business; not becoming emotionally invested in the things that are happening outside of you.  Now that's a sentiment I can get behind in Any era!  I just came to the realization that there are no hard edges in Peace.  It's calm, tranquil, and smooth; silky to the touch...That's exactly  the feeling I'm going for... I have moments of pure bliss throughout the day, so I began to observe these moments to myself, "How can I make this feeling last?  How do I make this my preferred state of being?"  As opposed to allowing anxiety to kick in, sending my over analytical mind into overdrive, I instead looked to my inner child.  At what points throughout the day was she most stimulated and engaged?  Now that answer was very simple:  "When I am learning and creating."  Yes!...

The Tea: Days of the Week Energy Correspondence

Sooo, the hot topic of conversation between myself and my closest friends has been how out of wack we feel, and just out of sync we seem to feel with our current realities.  It sparked a renewed interest in an article I came across about 7 years ago that talked about how we were doing things all wrong on a daily basis... From the day we are born, we have a schedule, of sorts that is imprinted on us.  As opposed to learning through our own intuition when to act, and how to maneuver certain energy, we are forced into what is pre-existing; what is most conducive to the environment in which we are now being integrated...and this becomes life.  Never giving a second thought to the fact that perhaps you should be moving entirely differently.  According to foreverconscious.com  , the specific vibrational signature for each day of the week is influenced by the planet for which it's name originates.  Each day was named after the planet with the corresponding ...

The Virtuous Woman

I remember growing up in church and hearing this term mentioned several times in reference to a particular bible verse.  It was always used in conjunction with a lesson concerning the ways in which a woman should conduct herself; specifically, what characteristics a woman should possess in order to be the ideal partner.  As a child, this was one of the lessons I took with a grain of salt because I was too young to fully appreciate all of its implications.  As I grew older, the concept continued to escape me; as outside influences became more prevalent, and began to shape my perspective.  It wasn't until recently, while reading that the idea returned to me, that I started to reflect on what this actually meant to me; I chose to define it on my OWN terms... Virtue, by definition, according to the New Oxford American Dictionary, means, "behavior showing high moral standards; a quality considered morally good or desirable in a person; a good or useful quality of a...
